Goodbye to our range...

The falsely so-called "justice" system strikes again. F%ckin' sucks.

I moved to Southern California in the early 90's. I then moved from Southern California in the mid 90's. Three or four years of the insanity was about all I could take.

Honestly, I can't understand why anyone who is in their right mind stays and supports the regime over there...

Herein lies the problem. They didn't own the land.

Also if skeet shot was a problem, they should have redirected the range to another direction away from his land.

This is the reason I spent the better part of one summer driving back and forth from my home to Indianapolis spending the days at the State House fighting for a Range Preservation Law. If such a law has not been enacted in your state I would suggest you talk with your state reps and try to get a law in motion before it is too late.

We had a pretty nice indoor one here ( private owned ) that used ground up rubber tires for backstop material. Multiple lanes with electric target returns, classroom for CC training, gun store in lobby.

Somebody used tracers they weren't supposed to, and about 3am one morning, the tire material caught fire, and the place burned down.

There are two public ones sponsored by the Forest Service, but they basically just consist of a couple lanes cleared out of the woods and a rough bench rest.

The article doesn't mention it but they did do that very thing.

The skeet shot was all along the north side of the range, where the developer's land is located. When he started howling about it, they built a new shotgun range on the far south end of the property, and then tore down the older one on the north side.

All that money and time spent building the new shotgun range, and in the end it didn't make any difference.
People like this developer and the judge [sic] who ruled against the range in such a capricious fashion remind me why Hell exists, and who gets to go there.

The attack on gun culture is live and well. I am sad to hear they are shutting down that range. Now fight back and teach your kids or some friends about gun culture. The more people who enjoy guns the better off gun owners will be.

That sucks. This is how they roll up the sidewalks.
